Bridging cultures through language expertise

Growing up in an international environment shaped both my language skills and my passion for communication. I spent part of my childhood in Ireland, where I attended primary school, became fluent in English, and was immersed in a multicultural setting from an early age.

After returning to Slovakia, I continued developing my language skills and began teaching English — first informally, and later in a professional context. This naturally led me to pursue a degree in Translation and Interpreting at Comenius University in Bratislava.

During my studies, I completed a semester at the University of Bologna, home to one of Europe’s most respected translation and interpreting departments. There, I further refined my interpreting skills and gained valuable international academic experience.

In addition to my academic and professional background, I spent nearly five months in Turkey, where I developed a beginner-level proficiency in Turkish and deepened my intercultural awareness.

Since graduating, I have worked with professional clients in business and corporate environments, providing simultaneous and whisper interpreting, often under time pressure and in multilingual settings.

Today, I work primarily as a professional Slovak–English interpreter, and also as a translator. I combine academic training, international experience, and real-world practice to help individuals and businesses communicate clearly, naturally, and across cultures.
